Mr. Hill is the Principal of Loma Consulting.  He founded the company in 1998 and has, since that time, served as a project manager for maintenance improvement efforts for a number of industrial companies, both in the US and worldwide.  Mr. Hill has over 30 years of experience in the power industry, including projects in both power delivery and power generation.  Mr. Hill's areas of expertise include the preventive maintenance optimization, including Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and maintenance management Assessment.  

Mr. Hill is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the University of Pittsburgh, and has performed post-graduate work at both the University of Maryland and the University of Virginia.  He is the author or co-author of several papers and technical reports in the area of maintenance, including topical reports for the Electric Power Research Institute. He was a co-author of CIGRE TB541 "Asset Management Decision Making Using Different Risk Assessment Methodologies" and TB597 "Transmission Asset Risk Management - Progress in Application".  He is also a member of the IEEE, ASME, SMRP, CIGRE (Working Group C1.25), and the American Nuclear Society.
